Real cards or digital cards
Before comparing features, work out whether your pod wants to play with the cards you own or with any cards at all.
Webcam tools like SpellTable and Convoke point a camera at your physical deck. You keep the real game, and in exchange you deal with lighting, bandwidth and cards that are hard to read when someone holds them up to a lens.
Browser tables like EDHMat, TableCommander, Kiku.gg and untap.in deal digital cards from a decklist you paste. MTG Commander online is the longer case for that side of the line, and where to play Commander online lists every tool on both sides. Everyone sees the same board, and you can play a deck you have never owned. You give up the cardboard.
When a pod tries remote Commander and gives up, it's usually because they picked a tool on the wrong side of that line, not because the tool was bad.
If you want the rules enforced
None of the tools in this section know what your cards do. If missed triggers and "wait, can you do that?" are what spoil your games, look at XMage or Forge. Both are free downloads, and both play full Magic, stack and triggers included. A browser table won't fix that problem for you.
